Reclaim Love. Reclaim Life.

Have you ever said to yourself, Life would be great if only …

   … I made more money.
… My job were less stressful.
   … I looked like a model.
   … More people liked me.
… My pet could fly free, in-cabin with me.
… I could find the right person to marry.
… I could control my gambling.
… My spouse were more understanding.
   … I had raised better-behaved children.
… My life were less chaotic.
… I had more free time.
… I could live anywhere I want with my pet.
   … I were happier.

This type of thinking actually prevents us from being happy with who we are and what we have achieved. Instead of being okay with ourselves, we end up feeling more depressed, anxious and angry.

There is an effective alternative. Read more about Life Works Counseling’s approach.

About Francesca Kelly, M.S.

Francesca Kelly is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over twenty years of experience in the helping profession. Her experience working abroad and in the United States has provided her with a broad background and understanding of the issues facing her clients. She specializes in treating individuals and couples with relationship issues.

Ms. Kelly uses a Cognitive Behavioral orientation. Treatment is brief, solution driven and focused on the here-and-now. Although Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was first associated with Aaron Beck and others over thirty years ago, its roots are far older. Over two thousand years earlier, Marcus Aurelieus (121-180 AD) captured the essence of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy when the ancient Stoic wrote: “Very little is needed to make a happy life. It is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.”
